D is for...

Dazzle Dust
Image taken from barrym.com

I was going to take and use my own picture for this post, but my Dazzle Dusts are a bit - well, dusty!  Doesn't make for a good photo shoot so thought I'd borrow a pic from the makers themselves....Barry M.

There are over 60 shades to collect (I've currently got my eye on dd39-Tan) and are a reasonable £4.50 each.  According to the Barry M website they can be used on both eyes and cheeks, although I'm yet to apply mine to cheeks.  Mainly because I don't think that dazzling black warpaint-style cheeks are a look that's set to catch on any time soon....

My black pot is my favourite and I like to use it to add a bit of depth when I do smokey eyes.  These pots are so pigmented and a little really does go a long way.  They're great to create a high-impact look with lots of shine.

If you're looking for new ways to use your Dusts, the lovely Panacea81 who you're probably all familiar with on youtube has lots of tutorials which use them.  If you want to have a look click here then search for "Barry M".

Do you have any Dazzle Dusts?  Which colours?  What would you choose for 'D'?

  1. I love Dazzle Dusts - I have 2, a golden pink and a dark blue - they're so pretty but I don't use them as often as I should because I have a tendancy to make a big mess with them! x

On my after shot of tresemme review I was using the sleek circus palette. I think I used the lavender and purple shades!!

  5. I envy people who are able to work these dazzle dusts! I have tried, tried and tried again to make it look pretty but it seems impossible! I seem to have such a heavy hand when applying it and end up looking a little drag. Not good! x
