Look at me

It's been just over a year since my first post and without getting gushy about it, blogging has changed my life.  Gone are the days when I lived by a jeans + vest formula, I now put thought into outfit sand feel comfortable wearing clothes my way.  That one fashionable friend we all have?  Yeah, now she's asking me to find pieces to fuel her fashion whims....and most of the time I know the answer off the top of my head because my fellow bloggers have already brought it to my attention.  Blogging is at the forefront of fast fashion, and it keeps us up to date with what's in style and in stores now, as well as giving us a look at how the clothes fare on normal girls.

So why would I like to win the Look Blogging Competition?  Well why wouldn't I?!  I can hand on heart say that blogging is my passion.  It's renewed the fire for writing I've been surpressing ever since I foolishly chose law as a career.  It's given me a new lease of life - law may not be the path for me, but through blogging I can see that there are so many other paths that I could choose.  If I'd discovered blogging when I was 18 years old, things would be very different now....  And Look magazine?  Only the best magazine for high street style!  The Look Catwalk Shows are always full of the best high street pieces and a source of inspiration for British shoppers today.

I'm not a huge blogger....I'm not even a medium-sized blogger (I'm normal-sized IRL) but that's not what blogging's about.  What I am is an honest blogger.  An accessible blogger who isn't jaded by the plethora of events that I (haven't) been invited to.   To be on sat in the front row would be too big for words, and I'm sure my readers would love to be taken along for the ride and see the experience through the posts that would follow.  A chance to go to the Look Show would make my year.....no wait, my blogging life...and I can guarantee that no one would appreciate and value the opportunity as much as me.
